Just as important as the specificity of the role, is to understand the yin and yang of personality types. As weaknesses generally arise from strengths, and all the roles are needed to make FA teams productive, it’s also important to understand the pros and cons of each personality.
- CEO: This role is mainly filled by a Senior Financial Advisor with a director-type personality. They can be good delegators, and/or rainmakers.
- COO: This role can be filled by an Investment Associate. This person will likely have good attention to detail, accuracy, and completion. They may also have “sufficient enough” people skills.
